How is NAKANO CHIROPRACTIC Treatment different?

NAKANO CHIROPRACTIC firmly believes that overall health is effected by four main branches.

Skeletal

The skeletal system is the frame of our body.  All nerves have to pass through the spinal cord to reach the brain.  When the spine is misaligned, it may trigger a chain of events causing multiple problematic symptoms.  Dr. Nakano has years of experience in adjustments both in Japan and in the United States, and have traveled to Bolivia for volunteer work.  There are many different methods to conducting adjustments.  Dr. Nakano is trained in a multiple of different methods so that he may be able to customize the treatment according to the different needs of his patients.

Muscular

Although chiropractic is mainly associated with adjustments, treating the muscles is also extremely important.  When joints do not function correctly, that area of the body does not move as much as it needs to, and in turn freezes up.  The muscle starts to stiffen causing the joint to not be able to function properly.  Your body tries to compensate by using other parts of your body, which overworks those muscles.  If a patient only receives an adjustment, the joint function may improve temporarily, but the surrounding stiff muscles will still have improper function, and may cause the joint to return to it's improper state.  Dr. Nakano is certified in both  (Graston Technique) and (Active Release Technique), both extremely famous for their treatment results.  Please click on the logo to be forwarded to their websites to find out more about the treatment method.

Lifestyle Modification

NAKANO CHIROPRACTIC finds it extremely important to emphasize lifestyle modification.  Whether you receive treatment twice a week or five times a week will not help if the cause of the problem is repeated.  Whether it be the way you sit in a chair or the way you hold your grocery bags, if those issues are not addressed, the problematic symptoms will most likely return.  At our office, we give our patients easy tips on how to change certain habits that may be contributing to their symptoms.

Exercise

Lack of certain muscles, can cause other muscles to overwork.  We here at NAKANO CHIROPRACTIC also provide classes in which we teach simple non-strenuous exercises to help strengthen muscles which help to support your body correctly.  These exercises also help with flexibility maximizing the range of motion for your muscles.
